When you know that you really want an inground swimming pool and also where on your private property, the question will come: what form and size, and at the same time what kind of material. Or more philosophical speaking, what will be the purpose of your swimming pool. In fact you may think of all kinds of purposes you can imagine, so I will name some possibilities under many of them, like:
A lap pool
When you are a sport type and want to increase and maintain your physical condition by swimming laps than this will be something for you because lap pools are long enough to do your laps in a comfortable way and wide enough to do your strokes without you hitting the side of the pool.
A play and relax pool
This kind of swimming pools are mainly for enjoying the water like refreshing yourself during hot periods and for children play in. Therefore this form can vary in as many types as there are individual interests and wishes like a shallow pool for children or a paddling pool for toddlers and infants or a beautiful landscaped one, because this will suit your artistic feeling. The last ones are also called free form pool. You are kneading so to speak the form into the shape you require and meanwhile adding features to it perfect the landscape of the home.
A diving pool
Of course diving pools are deeper than play pools and they have a diving board on the end of the pool. Most of the time these pools are combined with shallow parts and than gradually increasing the water depth along the length of the pool.
An infinity pool
This sounds amazing and it looks so. This works only if you have a free outlook from your garden towards the ocean, a bay, a lake or so. When you are near your house and look to your swimming pool it looks like your swimming pool is connected to the outside water up to the horizon, giving you the feeling of immense space, extending to infinity, vanishing into the wideness of the far off horizon.
